On the evening of April 14, an awards ceremony was held at the auditorium of the Modern Media Center, concluding the 2023 Changzhou Multi-Lingual Promotion Contest for the New Energy Industry.
The contest, also known as a business skills competition, required candidates to promote the city and its new energy industry in a foreign language. The aim is to discover the most talented individuals who can attract foreign investment and companies to Changzhou.
Lasting from March to April, the event attracted people from all walks of life to take part, not only including business attraction agency members, but also managerial experts, teachers, students, and foreign friends. After two rounds of competition, a group of winners emerged from them.
During the ceremony, nine champions presented their winning speeches in their respective languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Arabic, and Hebrew. Deputy Mayor Huan Heng, along with other leaders, gave out awards to the winners.
In addition, the commerce departments of four districts put on their situation comedies written for business attraction, generating laughter and applause from the audience.
